Juliette Latourte – Presentation

I am French. Following school, where I obtained a French scientific baccalaureate, I then graduated from the ISIT* where I studied translation from German and English into French, I then completed my training by spending three years in Spain, where I worked as a freelance translator.

I am a member of the SFT** with 10 years experience, and now work in France according to the EN 15038 quality standard. I am also a member of a state-approved management association, a sign of my commitment to adhere to accounting standards.

Finally, I consider that continuous professional development (CPD) is very important and also that a full understanding of IT tools is essential to offer the best in terms of ease of data transfer, confidentiality, security and archiving.

* ISIT, the French Higher Institute for Interpreting and Translation, is one of the two leading French translation schools. It is in Paris and offers training to masters level.

** SFT, The French Translators’ Union, is the official translators’ representative in France. Membership is subject to meeting admission criteria and experience.
